Job brief

We are looking for a social media marketing intern to help manage and grow our social media presence and content strategy. You will assist in the creation, curation, and optimization of content to engage and attract our target audience.

This is a performance-based paid internship for 4-6 months, with potential for full-time employment based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of content strategies across various social media platforms.
  • Write and edit engaging social media posts, blog content, and promotional materials.
  • Schedule and manage content across social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Monitor social media conversations, respond to comments, and engage with online communities.
  • Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to optimize content and engagement.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create visually appealing and compelling content.

Requirements

Final year of bachelor or master degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Soft skills

  • Strong passion for digital marketing and social media trends.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop fresh, engaging content.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset for interpreting social media data.

Hard skills

  • Proficiency with social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization.
  • Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
  • Experience with Google Analytics or social media insights platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirables

  • Previous social media or content marketing experience.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
